Sarhul ki tareekh har gaon mein alag kyun hoti hai?

Sarhul is celebrated in the bright half of Chaitra, but each village and its pahan may fix their own day. Ranchi's central procession and the state holiday follow Chaitra Shukla Tritiya.

Karma Puja kis din hoti hai?

The main Karma (Raja Karam) falls on Bhadrapada Shukla Ekadashi. The next day, Phoolkharkosi, is also a state holiday in recent years.

Do Sohrai kyun hain?

Santhal Sohrai is a January harvest festival and is on the state list. In Hazaribagh and among Kurmi and Oraon villages, Sohrai or Bandna is the cattle festival the day after Diwali.
